Here is my 1990 metro advantage.
I bought it in Febuary 2009. with 34000 miles on.

I part exchanged a white mk3 escort.
The guy gave me £500 for it and I paid an extra £800 for it.
It hads a slight dent in the roof when I got it.
Apparently some ladders fell on it while it was in the garage.
It has never been welded and totally rust free which is unusual considering it's 21 years old now.
I have replaced the engine and box for an mg one as the original gearbox was jumping out of 2nd gear.
This engine is in my shed half stripped down.
I have also had fitted a 3 branch manifold and a custom made stainless steel exhaust.
I did have twin su's on as well be the mpg was terrible so it's back to single carb.
I fitted an mg interior earlier this year along with a red carpet and leather steering wheel.
I got underseal all over the original seats when I painted underneath.

The paint work is in excellent condition and it only has one or two slight marks and scratches.
It has got a detailed service history and I have carried out a full service
and changed the oil and filters myself 3 times.
It has just passed it's m.o.t. in April with no advisories and made the trip to
Totally Transport at Blackpool last weekend with no problems.

I'ts definitely the best colour advantage as well.
Cherry red just doesn't cut it.
