Well have we got a treat for October.
Someone once scrapped a 5500 mile Metro to put into a Banham kit car.
What do you ask is so special about that ?
It happened all the time and was a change from the mini boys doing it !
Well Steve ( Ususck91rules) has managed to reverse the trend and has
stripped the Banham back into a 1989 GTA shell...Read on.

Take off the Banham shell.

Underneath is the original Metro.

Take out the engine and subframe complete.

Time to pair up the engine with it's new Metro home.

Lift it up and in as normal ?..not Steve..this rocking wooden cradle was designed by his dad
who incidentally was Steve's assistant :lol: :lol: throughout the works.

Once the engine was in, there was a lot more work to do..front wings and front valance were added
but loads of welding was undertaken by Steve's Dad.
