The history is:-
1st owner Rover on Jersey.
2nd owner Ex rover employee purchased it direct from Rover with 1,000 on clock in jan 1996.
3rd owner myself purchased it in July 2006. 86,000 miles, no MoT.
I have carried out light restoration work, ie some rear arch repairs, small repairs to the cills,
the body work is in fair condition, it looks better in the photos than it actually is.the bonnet as a lot of stone chips on it
The underside is in good condition, it as had some welding done before I purchased it.
I MoT'd in Jan 2007 and taxed it in April 2007, and enjoyed it durring the summer.
It is presently sorned waiting for the good weather to return
Durring the summer of 2007 I fitted a new black mohair hood.

Plans for the future are to use it and enjoy it.
and keep it for a long time

Hi,
I have pm'd you details of my hood fitting thread on Metro Power,

I got my new hood from:-

http://www.carhood.com/rover.htm

They do either a PVC one or a Mohair one.
It took me a bout 12 hours to fit,
Dave
