Now that numberplates have been recognised by DVLA as another income stream
and the old system has ceased it is worthwhile remembering how you could tell
where your car was first registered simply by the last two letters in the group of three.

For example some of Jacks past and present cars.

Bluey pictured below, SLB, therefore LB denoting London (North West)

This shows that Custard has stayed within 20 miles of its original registration office from new.
