well where do i start ? ... this car has been in our familey for 16 years ... its lived a life in swanky knightsbridge , then up up on t side , linconshire and then south london .. but is now retiered in the english riv, .. ... this car has been through hell and very high water ( thats another story ) with me, we nearley died togever -but we servied togever . i have put what pix i can find ( or have, as we did not take many ) the little fellow in the pix is my son james ( who can also be seen on my other posting ) although a bit older !

... no more to be said on that ..... however 6 months later legs working again ,i was gettin the cold shoulder from the kids over the car ... so i asked them what was it all about ...we brake thing and you mend em dad came the reply ...and says i ... well we want little nellie back ...sorry guys she`s gone to the brakers in the sky ...that nite my son cryed himself to sleep ...so you see i had no choese but to see what i could do , i can maintaine a car but this was something else ,but with loads of help from good friends a year later and we were getting there
during this time i found many things out regarding the tickford metro ... for instance this car was a christmas prezze for a guy who er .. hung around with the comedian franky howard ... it was mr howard who ordered it ..and it was the only lagonda blue ticky made .....
any was due to lifes ups and downs little nellie has been in storage since i put a rod through the block 9 years ago !
i hope to get her out for a photo shoot in the summer ( 3 tickfords and the wood and pickett ) and if time is good put her back on the road as it is now my vickki turn to take care of her .... james will get the silver leaf one ....
Me i`ll miss both of them ..... espeshaly Little Nellie .... still wells my eyes up thinking of the wonderfull times ive had with that car
