my 1989 mk2 turbo

this car was fully restored (bare shell re-build) in 2005 by myself and my partner (tan) it won best mg metro at the 2005 mgm saloon day. this car has had a few mods and will continue to be modified as its kind of my play thing now.

God there are some wonderfull metro`s appiering here now ! .... and thats the best mk2 turbo ive seen :o

Not too keen on the wheels that much, they don't suit the Turbo IMO. Would look good with a nice set of polished Turbo alloys :)


this car now has k series rear hubs and re-machined front so it now takes wheels from later cars metro/r100 those where only trial wheels which are 14" it now sits on 14" comps.

8-) Looks the mutts on the Comps .. A very nice Turbo :)

A stunning Turbo 8-) I remember looking through your restoration pix at Stanford Hall. You've both worked really hard on this car and its a total credit to you.

i have plans for this car next year. i have recently put trhis back on the road and i think its time to do some more sutble mods.

very nice looking indeed, but like previous said, bit on the white side isnt it?
i would hate to clean it, if it wasnt the love for metros! :D
