Sean's - 1984 MK1 MG Metro

My almost mint condition MK1 MG Metro
I have almost polished this car away  Currently stored out of the rain, just passed the Mot in December and is on Sorn now. I would like to repaint the underside of this car and service the subframes. The only other thing I can fault it on is the poor respray job on the drivers door and door step, and corrosion where the rear mudflaps mount the rear valance. Maybe a project for this year if I get time.
The car is low mileage, but seems to have an odd past as the engine now fitted is not the original. From what I can find out it may have been brought for the engine at some point and the shell sold off, and then reunited with a later MG Metro lump. Runs and drives beautifully.

Thats one nice metro you have there. I've always loved the Black MK1 MG model's turbo or non-turbo, i like the black with red stripes it really looks good.
